Chris Telfer is the Republican candidate for Oregon State Treasurer. Chris will be in Cave Junction on August 5, at 12:30 PM, at the Wild River Restaurant & Brewery. She’ll also be at Elmer’s Restaurant in Grants Pass on August 6, at 8:30 AM, to meet with you, hear your concerns, and answer your questions.
The State Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer for the state, and is responsible for the prudent financial management of billions of taxpayer dollars. Chris has been a Certified Public Accountant for nearly 30 years and presently owns a CPA practice catering to non-profit organizations. She’s currently serving her first term as State Senator representing Deschutes County. She’s a longtime small business owner, former Bend City Councilwoman, community leader, and highly respected fiscally conservative elected official. Chris’ robust financial background, common sense approach, and proven effectiveness as a legislator overwhelmingly qualifies her as Oregon’s next State Treasurer.
“Oregon does not have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem.” – Chris Telfer
