If You Want to be a PCP, Act Now

Precinct Committee People are elected in Oregon so, if you want to be a PCP, even if you already are one, you need to file the PCP candidate filing form by March 11 to get on the ballot for your precinct.

The form is located here. Be sure to fill in all the requested information, print the form, sign and date it, and deliver it to the County Clerk’s office at the Courthouse, 500 NW 6 St in Grants Pass.

PCPs are very important, particularly in an election year. They represent the Republican Party to the voters in their district, and also represent the Republicans in their district at the Republican Central Committee. PCPs are the eyes and ears of the party, and are the ones who ensure that the party stays in touch with its members. PCPs are fundamental to a grass roots political party that truly represents its members.

If you’re interested in becoming a PCP, please read The Top Ten Duties of a PCP, and then file your candidacy for your precinct.
